The Environment Network coordinated a conference for Cultures franchise owners in an effort to make them more “green” given that their public appearance is a “healthier” fast food option. Utilize local expertise and resources throughout the animation process. Hold several community workshops and focus groups in a variety of settings. Involve health and social works and clients, environmental organizations and professionals, parent groups, service clubs and Town representatives in the process. Conduct a promotion campaign to engage the community while providing an educational focus.

Eight projects; creation of boardwalk along lower reaches of Beaver River, restore historic pedestrian bridge across the Beaver River, enhancement of Thornbury Harbourlands, Beaver River Island bioengineering and naturalization, naturescaping and development of local Lookout Site on the 6th line, construction of a Pease Marsh Trail network, shoreline restoration and enhancement of a portion of the shores on the Thornbury Mill Pond and the explore the possibility of trail links between the Town of the Blue Mountains and Blue Mountain Resorts.
