Jen's systems-thinking and partnership-driven approach has fueled her over 25 years of experience as an environmental educator and leader. With twenty years’ experience working directly in the non-profit sector, she is accomplished in supporting the growth and development of non-profit and community organizations, and has demonstrated extensive knowledge in business development and a talent for building strong leaders and successful teams.

Recently, Jen's career has centered upon innovative development/scaling of remote training programs for Indigenous youth and adults in the fields of Drinking Water and Water Sciences.   Prior to this, Jen worked for 16 years with the Windfall Centre, collaborating and leading the development/delivery of energy efficiency programs, community retrofits, stormwater management, youth development and private-sector engagement initiatives.

As an Ecosystems Management graduate from Fleming College, Jen's passion for community has been a focal point throughout her work. She is now focused locally where she can offer her experience and skills to help foster environmental stewardship and local action.   As a newer resident to the area, Jen is excited to deepen roots and support the development and sustainable growth of The Environment Network as a board member.  In her spare time, Jen can be found exploring the many trails and waterways in the area, checking out local musician and artist events and enjoying the outdoors.
