Program Coordinator

Max is a dedicated and passionate Program Coordinator at the Environment Network. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor and a Diploma in Electroneurophysiology from La Cite Collegiale, Maxine brings a diverse skill set and a strong commitment to community development.

In her role as Program Coordinator, Maxine plays a vital role in organizing and managing various initiatives for the organization. She takes charge of booking and coordinating energy audits, working towards making houses more energy efficient. Maxine also oversees the summer camp program, ensuring smooth registration, maintaining relationships with parents, and managing payments. Additionally, she actively contributes to the care and maintenance of the community gardens, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and community engagement.

During her time with the Environment Network, Maxine has led the home energy initiative, making a significant impact on reducing environmental footprints and lowering energy costs, providing a healthier planet for generations to come. Her involvement in Depaving projects allowed her to create green spaces, transforming areas and providing opportunities for community members to reconnect with nature. Maxine's passion for supporting youth has led her to collaborate closely with the youth center, combining her knowledge in psychology with her dedication to empowering young individuals.

Outside of work, Maxine enjoys spending her spare time exploring the outdoors. Taking her dog on hikes or visiting the beach allows her to connect with nature and find tranquility. She also has a deep appreciation for food, eagerly trying out new recipes and discovering local restaurants. As she embraces a new chapter in her life, Maxine is excitedly anticipating the arrival of her first child, bringing joy to her growing family.
