Jesse Matchett

Jesse is an outdoor adventurer and enjoys being unplugged and away from screens and technology. Jesse has called the Collingwood area home for the majority of his life, actively engaging in local clean-up efforts, tree planting initiatives, and community preservation projects. His dedication extends beyond environmental activism; Jesse generously volunteers his time on three other local boards.
By profession, Jesse is an Engineer and Project Manager at Crozier & Associates in Collingwood, where he finds fulfillment in supporting First Nation projects across Ontario. As a member of the Board of Directors, he lends his technical expertise and strategic insights to the Environment Network, providing valuable guidance.
Outside of work, Jesse lives an active lifestyle and is involved in local sports teams, hiking, biking and skiing. In the summer, he frequently travels to the Temagami Area to explore Ontario's last wilderness frontier. With extensive canoe tripping experience in the Georgian Bay, Algonquin, and Temagami regions, Jesse embodies a true love for outdoor adventure.
