General office tasks
Assist the staff with high priority jobs or work more independently on longer term research projects. Depending on your preference you can be on call for rush jobs or help once a week. We ask a minimum time-commitment of 2 hours/week.
Examples of office volunteer tasks:
• Answering phones
• Computer tasks
Qualifications (job dependent):
• Ability to work with Internet and MS office
• Ability to work with Adobe software
• Familair with HTML coding
• Handy with cutters, glue and ruler
• Motivated and keen
• Organized
• Responsible and punctual
• Trustworthy and reliable
After School Programs - Girlfriends
Volunteer mentors will assist the Program Coordinator carry out activities and dicussion with our "girlfriends." The program's main objective is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, where adolescent girls can come together for the opportunity to learn, experience, share and discuss personal topics and issues relevant to their age.
Help with Booths
Keep up the good work! Enjoy the compliments you get at the booth. Learn how important it is to keep connected to the community and help raise awareness about the Environment Network. Set up, run and take down the booth, inform and hand out information.
Qualifications:
• Outgoing personality
• Work well with the public
• Knowledgeable of issues

• Reliable and on time

Distribute our Brochures and Educational Info
Help to get the message out to the public. Build-up and maintain network of contacts in your community to distribute our brochures. Donate some store or company space to display for distribution.

Your participation will be crucial at community events to raise public awareness. We are also looking for people to keep us informed about upcoming events that we should be part of! Take your share of posters and put them up at businesses and around town. Posters need to be put up on short notice or in advance.
